Software Implementation Manager
Good Done Great is looking for enthusiastic technologists to join our growing company. We provide technology solutions to Foundations and Nonprofits which turn the good they do, into the great outcomes they are seeking.
This technical position will be responsible for configuration and implementation services of Good Done Great solutions on our mission.do platform, so we really want people who have a solid technical background and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
You will be responsible for translating the processes and workflows of our Foundation clients into well-implemented solutions. And since our pre-built solutions are generally 80% of what the client already needs, we are looking for you to help them achieve that final 20%. You know, the real crowd-pleaser, icing-on-the-cake, kind of differentiation.
This position supports the Project Manager, so with you will be working as a team member, following a formal GDG Implementation methodology. This includes preparing requirements document, mapping requirements to the SalesForces functionality and related technologies, and configuring the solution to achieve the solution that the client desires. Some of the tasks that you will be conducting are:
- Configuring the mission.do options and user interfaces.
- Creating additional tables, fields, forms and relationships.
- Defining and setting up workflows, and validation rules.
- Creating reports, dashboards, and navigation items.
- Helping migrate the clients’ data from legacy systems.
Qualifications
You will be most successful if you already have a solid understanding of relational database concepts and implementation processes. An advanced knowledge of Javascript, PHP, or other languages is highly desired.
You will be expected to have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and follow through skills. Project management experience is a plus, and experience with Foundations or the Nonprofit sector is definitely helpful.
While our preference is for the position to be located in our Charleston, SC, it doesn’t really matter where you live. We are more concerned with getting the job done on time, on budget, and exceeding our client’s expectations.
